Ragdolls get their name from their tendency to go limp when picked up or held. They are one of the least aggressive and calmest breed of domestic cats. It could take a ragdoll four to five years to full mature. The adult males get to be 12 to 20 pounds and adult females get to be 10 to 15 pounds.
Persians are heavily boned, well-balanced with a sweet expression and soft round lines. They adapt well to an indoor enviroment and are generally quite, calm, laid back cats. Their coat comes in a wide range or colours and patterns such as parti-colours, bi-colours, shadeds, smokes, solids, and tabbies. Their large round owl-like eyes are found in a rainbow of colours with eye colour relevant to the Persian colour divisions
